Comarch Advances Autonomous Networks in Africa: Launch of a Pilot OSS Transformation Project in Partnership with Hatif Libya and Makman Technology Consulting

Comarch, together with Makman Technology Consulting and Hatif Libya, has officially launched a pilot OSS transformation project for the Libyan telecommunications operator. This initiative marks an important milestone in the development of autonomous, AI-driven telecommunications networks across North Africa.

The project’s inauguration ceremony took place at Comarch’s headquarters in Kraków, with the participation of executives and project teams from all three companies. The event marked the beginning of the project’s implementation phase, following the strategic cooperation agreement between Comarch and Makman Technology Consulting, announced earlier during the TM Forum DTW conference in Copenhagen in June 2025.

Laying the Foundations for Autonomous Networks

As part of the project, Makman Technology Consulting—serving as Hatif Libya’s transformation partner—is responsible for preparing the transformation roadmap and operational model based on TM Forum® standards. Leveraging its extensive expertise in AIOps and digital transformation, Makman will ensure alignment between business strategy, technology implementation, and operational excellence.

Comarch will deliver its advanced Operations Support Systems (OSS), including service order management, service inventory, and performance management solutions. These systems will streamline and automate network operations, enhancing service reliability and cost efficiency.

The project aims to establish the foundation for autonomous network operations in Libya, enabling faster service delivery, improved network performance, and significant reductions in operational costs.

Hatif Libya, a subsidiary of the Libyan Post, Telecommunications & Information Technology Company (LPTIC), is a key national telecommunications operator responsible for maintaining and modernizing communication infrastructure across the country.
